Dear Youths,
As Ekiti State prepares for the governorship election and other parts of our country conduct bye-elections, I urge all young people to come out and actively participate in this important democratic exercise.
Elections are not wars; they are opportunities for citizens to peacefully choose their leaders. As youths, we must reject violence, hate speech, vote-buying, intimidation, and every act capable of undermining the credibility of the process.
Your vote is your voice. Use it wisely and responsibly. Let us demonstrate maturity, patriotism, and a commitment to nation-building by conducting ourselves peacefully before, during, and after the elections.
I call on all youths to be ambassadors of peace, agents of unity, and defenders of democracy. Let us respect differing opinions, cooperate with security agencies and electoral officials, and ensure that our communities remain safe and peaceful.
Nigeria needs a generation of young people who will lead with integrity and promote peaceful coexistence. Together, let us make these elections a testament to our collective commitment to democracy and sustainable development.
